On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosted the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) Investor Panel competition at the Hilton Garden Inn Staten Island.

Earlier this year, Darlene Blanco, Head of Workforce and Talent Development at the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, completed and graduated from the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s Education and Workforce Fellowship Program.

On April 25, 2023, the Chamber hosted its Spring Member Meetup at Empire State Bank’s new corporate headquarters at Corporate Commons Three.

On Wednesday, April 19, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce hosted their 2023 FDNY & EMS Valor Awards Luncheon.

On March 20, 2023, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, Borough President, SIEDC, and members of the small business and veterans communities gathered at Rab’s Country Lanes to announce the continuation of the VETS Discount Program.

On February 28, the Chamber hosted “Southern Comfort,” the first Member Meetup of 2023, at Sally’s Southern.

On Thursday, February 16, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Awards breakfast.

“We also sponsor a lot of other sports and teams across the island because our kids were always involved, and we know it’s the right thing to do.”

Civil Court Judge Matthew Blum presided over the induction, which introduced twelve new members to the Chamber Board.

“I think the Chamber is paramount to any business,” says Rampulla. “It’s not expensive to be a part of the biggest business family, and I will always be an advocate for all Chambers.” 

Amy Posner, Executive Director of Hillel at the College of Staten Island (CSI), is an incredible influence on the young people that she works with.
