In 2021, the Staten Island Chamber, the Joan & Alan Bernikow Jewish Community Center (JCC), The Borough President’s Office, Amazon, and the Staten Island Foundation teamed up to bring Per Scholas to Staten Island.

Per Scholas prepares learners for tech careers through no-cost technology skills training and access to employer networks. Over 17,000 graduates have launched successful careers in tech to date at more than 650 companies.
