The Young Professionals Group (YPG)
The Young Professionals Group (YPG) is a meaningful networking faction of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce made up of dedicated, talented young professionals ranging in age from 21-40 in Staten Island.
The mission of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group is to engage and empower young professionals to become future leaders by providing personal and professional development opportunities through programming, networking, and civic involvement. Through this program, young professionals build relationships, develop personally and professionally, and contribute to the economic development and high-quality living of the community. The YPG continuously works to:
Create networking opportunities
Provide opportunities for educational and professional development in a variety of areas
Build awareness of governmental process and issues
Provide an outlet for volunteer information and opportunities
Create and cultivate our future leaders
Work to keep our young professionals in Staten Island
