The event, which drew more than 50 representatives from the small business community, served as an opportunity for attendees to network, view the new space, and collaborate.

“Our new location allows us to better serve the Staten Island business community, who make this borough the borough,” said Philip Guarnieri, CEO of Empire State Bank, who welcomed guests to the event. “We’re also dedicated to serving the nonprofit community, who are vital to Staten Island.”

Guests were also treated to a tour of the new Nicotra Grown Organic Farm, located on the roof of Corporate Commons Three. Nicotra Group Chief Operating Officer Kristine Garlisi led the tour, which offered an early look at the season’s crop. As the season progresses, the garden will yield vegetables, herbs, and fruit for use in The Nicotra Group’s eateries, hotel, and event spaces.
