Submit Your Project for the 2024 Building Awards: Time is Running Out!
On November 13, 2024, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Building Awards Ceremony. Held for more than 60 years, the Building Awards program distinguishes excellence in design through recognition of outstanding projects located within Staten Island, and/or designed by Staten Island-based professionals.
This year, the event will be hosted at the St. George Theatre. We will celebrate the honorees and the building industry with a cocktail hour, with food provided by Framboise Catering. The event will be sponsored by Signature Sponsor National Grid, and Partner Sponsors Northfield Bank, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Renewal by Andersen, Sherwin Williams, and Staten Island University Hospital.
If you have completed any project within the past few years, you are eligible to submit your project. Any structure or building of any size or project type (including new structures, renovations, alterations, redesigns, etc.) designed and/or constructed by a Staten Island-based professional is eligible. All submitted projects must be completed by September 2023 (so completion is prior to the judging day).
All projects must be submitted by September 6.
Excellence and Commendation Awards will be presented in the following categories:
Exterior
Interior
Interior Decorating
Landscaping
Outdoor Space
Specialty Craftsmanship
Technology and A/V
Sustainability
The Chamber will also present the Chairman’s Award - The highest honor of the Building Awards. To be eligible, applicants must submit and excel in at least four of the categories listed above.
