The film/television industry has been growing significantly across New York City and State over the last several years thanks in large part to the highly successful New York State Film Production Tax Credit programs.

Staten Island has been an important part of that growth, with the development of new sound stages and increasing numbers of productions coming to the borough to take advantage of the unique locations and film friendly communities found here.

In an effort to support the continuation of that growth — and the jobs and economic activity it brings — we are convening a small group of local stakeholders and community leaders to hear your ideas about best strategies to continue that growth and expand opportunities for local businesses on Staten Island.
