NYS Paid Vaccination Leave Extended
On March 12, 2021, NY’s Governor signed a law (amending the New York Labor Law) that entitled employees to up to four hours of paid leave per COVID-19 vaccine dose and later updated it to include boosters.
The law took effect immediately and the leave entitlement was set to expire on December 31, 2022. On June 28, 2022 Governor Hochul signed legislation extending this paid leave until December 31, 2023.
