Staten Island Chamber’s Dominic Provenzano Named as “Top 40 Under 40” in U.S. for Chamber Leadership

Dominic Provenzano, Marketing and Communications Manager of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, was named as one of the country’s “40 Under 40” emerging leaders shaping the Chamber industry by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).

“40 Under 40,” an annual recognition that honors young leaders in the Chamber of Commerce industry, was published as part of ACCE’s Chamber Executive Magazine, which was released on November 21, 2022.

“ACCE is dedicated to recognizing and supporting the most talented professionals in the chamber industry. This annual recognition program showcases 40 of the industry’s top emerging leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the communities they serve,” ACCE states. “The list includes CEOs and staff professionals from a wide variety of roles and chamber sizes. Their creativity, dedication and commitment to identifying innovative solutions will help shape the future of the chamber profession.”

To be considered, individuals must be nominated by a colleague, peer, or director. Provenzano was nominated by Linda Baran, President and CEO of the Staten Island Chamber. “Dom was brought on board for his innovative ideas and creativity,” said Baran. “He studied the results of a recent membership survey and executed a complete rebrand of the chamber, which included a website overhaul and a new suite of membership packages. He also developed and implemented a robust retention plan that ensures all members receive customized touch points, return-on-investment reports and one-on-one care. Thanks to Dom’s efforts, the chamber is better positioned to serve the needs of the next generation of Staten Island’s small businesses.”

In response to the honor, Provenzano stated, “I’m incredibly proud to have received this honor alongside 39 of my brightest colleagues in the Chamber industry. Thank you to ACCE for this honor, and big thanks to Linda Baran, whose leadership provides the space for myself and the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce team to succeed.”
