Chamber Kicks off Spooky Season with Ghost Walk Tour

On a crisp, October evening, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce partnered with Spooky Staten Island to host a spooky Ghost Walk tour of historic Woodland Cemetery.

Spooky Staten Island guide Michael Pelczar guided a tour of Chamber Members and family through the cemetery in full costume, sharing some of its most interesting stories and rumors about its permanent residents.

Along the tour, a bride in black could be seen in the distance, silently mourning the dead. A significantly less spooky appearance was made by Frankie the Ferryhawk, mascot of the Staten Island Ferryhawks.
