Chamber Kicks off the Summer with “Burgers and Beers”

On Thursday, June 9, approximately 100 members of the small business community gathered at the brand-new Conference House Park Pavilion for “Burgers and Beers,” the Chamber’s summer Member Meetup.

Guests were treated to catered food by A Taste of Honey Caterers, live music by Easy Company, and beer by Flagship Brewery - all while overlooking the Conference House Park and Raritan Bay.

“One of my favorite parts of the Chamber is being able to highlight Staten Island’s hidden gems,” said Linda Baran, President and CEO of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce. “We are so excited to share this beautiful new pavilion with so many of you, and thank [Conference House Director] John Kilcullen for all of his work in making this happen. There is no better place on the Island to spend this beautiful night.”

Frank Scarangello, Chairman of the Board of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, and Chris Ferrara, owner of Comserv Connect, also provided commentary and mused on the beauty of the Pavilion.

New Members Irina Portnova of Life Palette, Dean Marlin of New York Life, and Bridgett McLaughlin of Staten Island City Lifestyle also introduced themselves and their businesses.

The event was sponsored by Signature Sponsor SCARAN and Partner Sponsor Comserv Connect.
