Chamber Hosts First Pickleball Outing
On Thursday, June 5, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce hosted Paddles and Pints, a pickleball outing at Premiere Pickleball.
The event, which drew more than 100 participants, was sponsored by Signature Sponsors IDB Bank and Northfield Bank, as well as Partner Sponsors JAG Physical Therapy, Renewal by Anderson, and Lions Pride Leadership. SCARAN served as the event’s beverage sponsor.
Steve Argentine (A-List Janitorial Supplies), Charles and Sammy Cohen (Brew Bar LLC), and Gary Perone (Staten Island Ferryhawks) took home the trophy for the winning team.
The event was led by Committee Head Michele Esposito (Staten Island Chamber of Commerce) and Co-Chairs Gary Perone (Staten Island Ferryhawks) and Mark Tranchina (Lions Pride Leadership). Steve Argentine (A List Janitorial Supplies), Robert Bentson (Bentson & Company), Mike Bloomfield (Tekie Geek), Eddie Canlon (Canlon’s Restaurant) Christopher Dowling (Staten Island Performing Provider System), Chris Lee (Port Authority NY/NJ), Frank Scarangello (SCARAN), Reba Sherman (Ace Reprographics), and Laura Volsario (Gateway Arms Realty) served on the event committee.
