We were 90 strong, walking together, employees and former employees, along with our family members, all to make an impact. Team Stop & Stor braved the wind and cold and step by step we walked in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Staten Island Walk.
Stop & Stor, a leader in the self-storage service business for 30 years has over 90 employees and 17 locations. On Sunday, October 21, 2018 members of the Stop & Stor family from throughout New York City joined 8000 other supporters as TEAM STOP & STOR.
For Stop & Stor being a corporate sponsor of the event is not enough. Events like this are an opportunity to make a social impact and team build that goes beyond financial giving. Our team surpassed its goal and gave generously and celebrated this accomplishment at a thank you lunch provided by Stop & Stor’s Chief Operating Officer Jeff Henick.
Wearing T-Shirts designed with a nod to this year’s theme of YOUNITED and created by Stop & Stor’s Yessenia Velasquez who is Facility Manager of the Woodhaven Queens Stop & Stor location we were YOUNITED.
