![]() YPG is a meaningful networking faction of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce made up of dedicated, talented young professionals ranging in age from 21-40 in Staten Island. The YPG agenda focuses on enriching the community by uniting and developing Staten Island’s young professionals. Through this program, young professionals are building relationships, developing personally and professionally, becoming politically and philanthropically active, and contributing to the economic development and high quality living of the community. The cost to participate in the YPG is free for Chamber members and their employees. The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce has Young Professionals Group (YPG) Leadership Committee. YPG committee members meet on a monthly basis to schedule events and assist in planning the direction of the group as well as the YPG Mentor Program.
Objectives
![]() The Mentor Program was created to cultivate an exchange of ideas, friendship, and expertise among young professionals on Staten Island and industry veterans. This program matches young professionals with experienced professionals for guidance and support, while offering mentors an opportunity to strengthen ties with the young future leaders of the local community and the Chamber.
